JDRF paragraph

At Delta Tau Delta, we are committed to supporting individuals with type 1 diabetes, through our partnership with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Founded by parents of children with type one diabetes, JDRF is dedicated to providing support and funding of research for cures and treatments. We believe in their mission and are proud to contribute through our annual fundraising efforts, such as the haunted maze event. Our goal is to raise funds and awareness to aid those afflicted by type on diabetes, making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Maze paragraph

Each year, from mid to late October, we host an annual haunted maze event aimed at raising funds for JDRF and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Constructing the maze is a significant endeavor, involving over 750 hours of service from our fraternity brothers. We meticulously plant over 600 stakes and hang tarps to create a thrilling maze experience. To ensure the event’s success, we implement a robust marketing strategy, distributing over 400 flyers and putting up large signs around Rolla two weeks before the event. In 2021, our Epsilon Nu chapter proudly donated over $5,000 to JDRF, with additional support from other fraternities, showcasing our dedication to making a positive difference in our community.
