This year we celebrated our 49th homecoming with most of the same traditions from past years: alumni vs. actives football game, Lee’s Chicken catered lunch, an afternoon of catching up, and a yummy catered dinner—all followed by reminiscing and paddle signing for new members. This year, we kicked off planning for the 50th homecoming (which is next year—Fall of 2016). Mark your calendars (in erasable pen) for October 15th, 2016. This date is still tentative, but it’s the best guess we have as of the printing of this newsletter, and it’s quite likely to stay October 15th, 2016. A concreted and confirmed date will be announced in the next ENus newsletter (Spring of 2016) and online at facebook.com/ENDelts.

Our 50th celebration will be huuuuuge! (i.e. like when Donald Trump when he talks about the huuuuuge wall he will build on the Mexico/U.S. border) Okay, maybe a Trump huuuuuge is a bit of an exaggeration for our purposes… Regardless, it will be a big event. You don’t want to miss it!

So what makes our 50th so special? It will include activities for the whole family – and I’m not talking about Kool-Aid pong… We plan to have a bouncy house on property, and the shelter will be family-friendly during the day on Saturday. Additionally, we’ll have: our annual alumni vs. active flag football game, a performance of ritual at a private location on campus, a banquet at an offsite location (including a cash bar), and campus/ shelter tours. We hope to see you on Saturday October 15th for a fun and enlightening day with your brothers!
