The wonderful city of Springfield, Missouri hosted the 2016 Delta Tau Delta Conference. We were able to send four of our five executive committee members as well as many aspiring younger members to get the most out of the experience. Unfortunately we did not take home any awards, but that is just motivation for us to work harder this year and strive for a Court of Honor or even a Hugh Shields at next year’s conference. We as a chapter would like to extend a big thank you for the continuing support our alumni have given us. At this conference specifically we saw Dave Hammon, Brian Booth, and Greg Eike. Thank you for taking the time out of your week to support us and others at conference.
Finally we participated in the Twitter challenge again this year and took home the $100 scholarship for the second year out of the three times it has been offered. With this scholarship one of our members will be able to attend a leadership camp hosted by Delta Tau Delta called Ignite.
