This semester we had the privilege of welcoming ten men into our brotherhood. They’re a unique group, so here’s a chance to get to know them a bit.

First badge, 421, is Tyler Richards from Liberty, MO. He currently has a pending patent from an invention from high school. Next, Steven “Matt” Smith if from Adrian, MO. He has swam with both sharks and stringrays. Third is Ian McLean from Hannibal, MO. Ian took a year between high school and college to hitchhike literally from coast to coast. Fourth is Andrew Bateman from St. Louis, MO. Andy has had two strokes in his lifetime. Fifth is Andrew Hudlund from Springfield, IL. Hedlund, as we commonly refer to him as, is a DJ with KMNR, our campus radio station. Sixth is William “Will” Travous also from St. Louis, MO. Will is an Eagle Scout. Next is Korey Dennis (not pictured) from Excelsior Springs, MO. Korey is also an Eagle Scout and we think he is allergic to sleeves. The eighth initiate is Caleb Nelson from Kirksville, MO. Caleb is an avid video game player. Ninth, we have Chase Hill (not pictured) from Kansas City, MO. Chase has hiked six mountains with elevations above 14,000 ft. The tenth and final new member is William “Turk” Bates from St. Louis, MO. Will took professional fencing lessons for 2 years. These are the newest faces of the Epsilon Nu chapter of Delta Tau Delta, and we’re glad they chose to join us!
