Damon Wendt (419 ΒΣ) is a senior in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Damon is currently very active on campus, particularly with the Missouri S&T Satellite Research Team (M-SAT). M-SAT works to design and build real satellites to be put into space. He serves as website administrator and repository administrator for the team. Of the two current satellites being developed, he is the Communications Subsystem lead for both. His newest leadership role is serving as the Program Manager for one of the two satellite programs. In the past, Damon held a variety of positions on campus. During his freshman and sophomore years, Damon was very active on the Missouri S&T Solar Car Team as the Director of Online Outreach. During his sophomore year, he was a Resident Assistant (RA) and mentor for the Hit the Ground Running Program. In the future, Damon hopes to work in the aerospace industry and wants to experience zero gravity.
